The Beijing International Triathlon will have six race divisions:
1. Age Group (REGISTER)
This group consists of International and Local Chinese individual amateur triathletes who will be divided into sub-divisions based on gender and age. The minimum age will be 15.
2. Relay Teams (REGISTER)
This group consists of International and Local Chinese participants who will compete in teams of two or three. Each member of the relay team will compete in one or two legs of the race.
3. Corporate Challenge (Invitation Only)
This group will consist of International and Local Chinese participants who will compete in relay teams of three on behalf of their Company or Organization. Each member of a Corporate Challenge team will compete in one leg of the race. Corporations may enter multiple teams.
4. ParaTriathlete (REGISTER)
This group consists of International and Chinese local participants who have a disability that falls within one of six ParaTriathlete categories.
5. ParaTriathlete Relay Teams (REGISTER)
This group consists of International and Chinese local participants who have a disability that falls within one of six ParaTriathlete categories and will compete in relay teams of two or three.
6. Professional Triathlete (Invitation Only)
This group consists of International and Chinese local participants who hold a Professional standing within their National Governing Body. These participants will compete for US$100,000 in prize money.
