The Beijing International Triathlon is the newest international event in the Escape TO Alcatraz Triathlon Series.

Every summer, 2000 triathletes from around the world decend upon San Francisco Bay to attempt the impossbile: ESCAPE from Alcatraz!  Due to the high demand for this race, entry is by lottery or qualification in the Escape TO Alcatraz Triathlon Series.  Over 8000 triathletes per year will try and hope for one of the coveted 2000 race entries.

The top 50 finishers across all divisions at the 2013 Beijing International Triathlon will qualify for the 2014 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco.
